Coming out of college, one thing that no scout or pundit could question was Brian Thomas Jr.'s ability to take the top off of a defense if given enough space. In this Week 5 matchup between Jacksonville and Indianapolis, that is exactly what he did, running a deep route from the slot on the right side, beating his man, and then flying down the field for an 85-yard score once the ball was lofted his way. The touchdown was both the longest of Thomas' short career and the longest of his quarterback's NFL career thus far, and was part of a five-catch, 122-yard performance for the first-round rookie receiver. Jacksonville would go on to win this one, 37-34, on Oct. 6, 2024.
